What's going on at the Orchard

Dear Friends,

It has come to our attention from a valued customer that our Jonathan apples may not be as good a quality as we would like.  The symptoms of the the problem is a browning in the flesh of the apple that is not seen on the outside.  The apple looks completely normal but when you cut into the apple, the bottom portion may be brown and soft.  If you have experienced this in any of the Jonathans you bought, we apologize and we would like to offer a replacement quantity of a variety of your choice.  For your trouble in having to come out to see us we will give you a second bag at no charge.

We have extended our season to Sunday, November 20.  We still have a great selection of apples.  We have special pricing on one-half bushels of all remaining varieties including Honeycrisp #2 (or seconds) for $12.50 per half bushel.

Acorn and butercup squash are also still available at $8.00 per half-bushel or singley.

The orchard store is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 Noon to 5 p.m.

We hope to see you this weekend at the orchard.
