  • Apples are picked by hand, sorted, and bagged in a variety of sizes. Please refer to the Pricing page for more information.

  • We have a large pumpkin patch with a wide variety of shapes and sizes available. We have carts available for hauling pumpkins from the patch to the weigh-in area.

  • Pumpkins are sold by weight. Many of our pumpkins range from 20-35 pounds, but we do get a few that are considerably larger. Please see Pricing page for more specifics.

  • You may peel, cut in chunks and boil in water until tender with a fork. Then whip like preparing mashed potatoes. However, we feel it is easier to cut in half, scoop the seeds out, place the squash face down on a rimmed cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment for easy cleanup, and bake at 350 ºF for about an hour and 15 minutes until tender when pierced with a knife or large fork. When cool enough to handle, scoop the flesh into a large bowl. Beat with a mixer if desired. Season to taste. Butter, salt and pepper are usually all that is needed. Either way is delicious. Enjoy!

  • Honeycrisp apple trees are slower to come into full production, have a tendency to bear every other year, and require special handling. For most varieties of apples, the entire row or variety is picked at once. For the Honeycrisp, we find that we often go through the trees selectively picking once or twice prior to clean-picking a tree. There is extra handling and labor involved with this method, but feel it is worth it to get the best quality. The Honeycrisp is an excellent fresh eating apple.

  • We do not offer hayrides. However, we recommend consulting the Michigan Agritourism Association website michiganfarmfun.com for information on other farms and their offerings.
